Our story from Co-Founders Vanessa Elliott and Adrienne Meyers.
ABOUT US
Elliott | Meyers Design was founded in 2015 by Vanessa Elliott and Adrienne Meyers. It is the culmination of our love for stylish, fresh and timeless interiors and our desire to make impeccable style accessible for everyone. We have been planning and researching for the birth of Elliott | Meyers Design since we met in 2013 on a design project. Our client centered business with over 25 combined years of professional design experience aims to not only offer our talent and expertise but also to educate our clients on the process of design. Elliott | Meyers Design offers a full range of design services. We will work with you to create a home that functions exactly as you need it to, while being beautiful and timeless.
OUR TEAM
Vanessa Elliott, Principal Designer and Co-Founder
Vanessa developed her love of art and design at a young age observing her grandmother hard at work in her studio. Her grandmother was an accomplished watercolor artist but dabbled in a variety of mediums including charcoal, acrylic, pastel, and oil painting.
Vanessa graduated from the the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree where she studied Marketing, PR and Event Planning. She went on to receive her AutoCAD certification from the New York School of Interior Design. After college she spent time living in both Boston and New York City studying interior design while working in event planning and marketing.
Vanessa worked independently on design projects for a number of years until meeting and collaborating with Adrienne. She is constantly finding inspiration from travel, design books, movies and fashion. She also loves thrift shopping for vintage treasures to refinish and breathe new life into. Vanessa contributes her obsession with beauty in functionality, attention to detail, love of art, and vintage finds to Elliott | Meyers Design.

Ellen began her career working in event planning, coordinating everything from weddings to an inaugural gala, where she was able to create the backdrops for meaningful moments in peoples lives. She carried that sense of purpose with her when she joined the Elliott | Meyers Design team in the fall of 2020, committed to bringing the EMD vision to life to create functional, beautiful spaces for our clients to live and work.
